What is Mahjong Solitaire?

This is a single-player tile-matching game that is commonly played on a computer or mobile device. This game should not be confused with the 4-player game Mahjong or American Mah Jongg, which bear very little resemblance to Mahjong Solitaire (other than the fact that it uses similar tiles).
